Trash

You'll never get back
What you've thrown out.
Trash stays in the can.
It doesn't get up and walk away.
Someone has to find it first.
Once it's gone,
It's never coming back.
It's all used up
And worn out.
To you, that is.
Someone else will find it
And love it more than
You ever did.
Maybe the next person
Will see it in a different
Light than you did.
Maybe the next person
Can help the trash
Reclaim its beauty.
