Poetic Soul
A man within the mist
lay tunes upon the air
as the mirth of time
brings madness to his lines
Nar to recant a single word
from a sonnet so sweet
that rest upon the ears
on the dying and the meek
For the passions of his prose
shared not by the ignorance
of men of high self esteem
augurs only in promising men
Brings forth the dearest patois
wrinkled from ink and pen
for weeping eyes to witness
the poetic flare of his soul
