Love Loss

Tears from memories in my head,
Sometimes wishing that I was dead.
As I retreat to hide within my bed,
Sorrow are the tears that I do shed.

I sleep as the time passes away,
Wishing more and more for a brand new day.
It’s times like these ones that I do pray,
Needing words of comfort to come my way.

Bring me relief with love today,
Make me feel anew with tomorrows new day.
It’s times like now that I will say,
My own faith and hope will carry me away.
