Lost Mom

You held me in your arms and said you loved me
Cradled me to sleep night after night
Times passing and that loves fading
All I wanna right now is flee

Shouting
Screaming
Cursing and squealing
Can't you see how much I'm really hurting?

Wish you'd go back
To the way you were
The sweet gentle women
That I knew

You're changing
Becoming the women you promised you wouldn't be
You let me down
Can't you see what this is doing to me?

You held me in your arms and said you loved me
Cradled me to sleep night after night
Times passing and that loves fading
All I wanna right now is flee
