Illusion of Life

Look around, the rain washing away with you, (who are you?)
all that is you surrounds us two, (who are we?)
looking at your eyes
the heart cold as ice
no sympathy for you-no more,
this rain is rinsing the pain connecting cord,
providing new fresh cuts and attraction
as a new prescription-
addiction to our illusion
illusion to our addiction
you wonder why and steady
ready-
for nothing, the purpose for life and death
drawing a small breath
my vision turning static
your face eccentric.
Why? Everything, changing,
so fast, hasting-spinning
the picture ripping-disintegrating
now I see what stands behind that picture
like a sharp pain inflicted in my brain, more like a puncture
I come to realize what ignorant I am
how dull I am (was)
