Addiction is a Siren Song

The sirens' songs are Sweet and slow,
Suggesting I sail my way to my own demise fathoms below
The black sky and blue waves.
Once I am hypnotized by the nymphs
They feast on my flesh, slowly devouring my psyche
Until I am smaller than a stillborn and equally damned.
Let eternal hellfire be the penance for not resisting death
