The Orchestra...
The Orchestra....
I watch the sky talking in shades of gray.
A BAD storm coming - this way...
Darks and Lights, overlapping
swirling, and wind slapping...
Temperature dropping - tis cold.
The wind raging a war so bold.
The crash of thunder
My Nerves of steel plunder...
Lightning strikes nearby.
Boom so loud - a thunders cry.
I jump from sudden fright.
The Lightning - skies alight...
The storm is singing Capello.
The fat lady singing solo...
The wind thrashes the trees.
The storm bellows a sneeze.
The rain echoes the chorus...
The storm is singing for us.
I stand in fright the orchestra plays.
Storm is ferocious in so many ways.
I watch the orchestra in the sky.
The lightning, thunder, wind, I sigh.
The trees take a bought- a twister I spy.
I turn to flee, but frozen in fear.
The Twister is BIG - it tis near....
The band plays all around me
Take a deep breath a quick pray today.
I run for my life; twister comes this way...
I trip over a branch and hit the ground.
Everything stops moving - all around...
I, for a split second, believe I am ok.
Lightning - Bright- Storm wants to play.
No, I am not alright. I am in the EYE....
Eye of the twister, I pray, and I cry....
Today is the day that I die....
Buzzzzz Buzzzzz Buzzzzz
I open one eye... Then Two.... I sigh....
Thank God I will live another day...
In bed, warm and snuggled I wanna stay...
All the sudden - a LOUD Knock on the door...
Guess who has to get up now... What a bore...
