An eerie experience.

An eerie experience.

The night was silent
but the silence was eerie.
The sky was murky.
It was a dead night.

The weather was stuffy.
I laid on bed.
My eyes were draught
and the heart was gloomy.

Suddenly I heard sounds
of foot steps on the roof top.
They were very slow
like the paces of maidens.

Who could be there
when I am only here?
At first an unknown fear ceased me
as it was bizarre.

But suddenly i decided
to discover the mystery
which was not only goose bumped
but also spooky.

Opening the door of the room.
I went through the stair case.
and found there was no movement of the leaves
but all at once a gust of wind shoved my face.

I couldn't stand anymore,
turned and escaped from there.
