World the deaf and dumb

In shadows cast by war's relentless night,
Where tears are shed for lives now lost in flight,
Children, women, elders, side by side,
Their dreams extinguished in the crimson tide.
Beneath the weight of anguish, hearts do ache,
As hope recedes with every step we take,
In shattered lands where silence screams aloud,
The echoes of injustice pierce the shroud.
No refuge found in halls of power's might,
As cries for peace dissolve into the night,
Yet in the midst of darkness, love remains,
A beacon guiding through the endless pains.
Though justice seems a distant, fading dream,
We raise our voices, let our empathy stream,
For every soul that's lost, a prayer we send,
 In solidarity, may healing mend.
Though UN, ICC, and ICJ may falter,
Humanity's resolve, it cannot alter,
For in the depths of sorrow, we unite,
To strive for peace, to banish endless night.
