The Clarifying Truth

In clarity I trust you
Forsaken are the days of war
When we sliced the very air we breathed
In such a simple manner
Yet so heartfelt it seemed
The devastation was unequaled
The gloom so austere
My love I reach out to you
With full awareness of your ways
Now not needing interpretation
Or a manuscript of laid out plans
I am fully found in this moment
Full of the best of all our worlds
We are not antiques yet
Still capable of walking on
Full knowledge of each other
At one time a defeating fact acquired
Let me search your teary eyes
Holding one hand that i know
Memorizing each sweet callous
Tracing a thought line from your brow
come and spend the day with me
Returning only to our desired love
