Seen
She's never seen.
Instead she's entwined with darkness
And hidden and shielded behind an unnoticed entity.
No one takes the time to hear her and the demons she is entitled to fight off.
It's a constant war ground, and the demons are setting off bombs.
But no one cares to help her win this battle that she is slowly losing.
And they don't see that her shattered skin is now battered and bruising.
No one notices her on the ground begging for mercy and seeking to surrender.
But that's not the whole truth. At least not for her.
The whole truth is that she is begging, just to be seen.
But also begging for the wounds to heal and to stop their bleeds.
The circumstances are, no one ever wants to see the blood shed.
But she's on the ground, on her knees hoping, praying the battle will end.
No one understands that she's on the verge of her seat, knowing she's going to lose.
She's burning, but No one wants to see the burning house that she's confined to.
No one sees the charring on her skin from the ashes from the horrific flames.
No one truly knows it, but it is the fault of not being seen,
That's what is calling upon this mental state.
Her feelings of not being seen are what called the demon to her aid,
Which only came to tell her manipulative lies.
It tore her up and created the war grounds and ticking bombs inside.
So now each step she takes is filled with cautiousness and fear
She knows the land mines are lying in plain sight but are hidden everywhere.
Just like her the bombs are never seen.
And her emotions she holds stay hidden are always beneath.
