As If I Wasn't Standing There

As if I wasn’t standing there
The wind blew stronger and harder
In every direction that I was headed
and swished my skirt up to my neck
making me feel uncomfortable and unworthy.

As if I wasn’t standing there
No one said hello or even said how are
You doing, are you excited about being here
The festivities are on the table, I hope you
Enjoy your stay, those words I didn’t hear
anyone‘s mouth open to say.

A hidden ghostly appearance from inside of me
was afraid to peep its head out and even with the sunlight my image did not take its shape or form
I must have looked stupidity, no doubt.

I was cursed when I should have been blessed
I was stricken down instead of being held up
I was ran over as if I wasn’t still standing there in attention, waiting to express my opinion.
How could everyone have missed me. I saw them walk around me as if I was not important enough to be
heard.

I want to be more than I have ever been
Why can’t other people understand what I am feeling
Come out from among them said Jesus
For he will gladly welcome the humble lamb into
His Kingdom, just stay right there so that you will
Receive no more injuries trying to get to him, because
his spirit lives inside of them.  And that is exactly what I did to show the world that he still exists and has more anointed power to freely share.  And that is why I love
him and not them.
