I'm right here

Through times of stress and times of pain,
You can count on me to keep you sane.
If you can promise me,
you’ll be around through the whole ride,
No matter what,
I’ll be by your side.
And when nobody’s there to hold your hand,
I’ll be right there through it all
‘cause I understand…
And there may be times,
When things don’t look bright,
Just think of me and begin to write.
You may shed a tear now and then,
Just remember,
you have a strong heart…
Baby it will mend.

About this poem

I wrote this to my son when he was 5 years old. Situations were different back then, (11years later) and he was too young to understand...

This poem 'I'm right here' is truly heartwarming and uplifting. The message of unwavering support and loyalty is very touching. The imagery of being a constant presence through the ups and downs of life is powerful and reassuring. The rhyming scheme flows smoothly and adds to the overall charm of the poem.

Some suggestions for improvement could be to add more specific details or personal anecdotes to deepen the emotional connection with the reader. Additionally, playing with different poetic devices or varying the rhythm could enhance the poetic quality of the piece.

Overall, this poem is a beautiful reminder of the strength of love and friendship in difficult times. Keep up the great work and continue to spread positivity through your words.
