Jesus my brother

The Bible a book revealed
I try to keep a copy near
Reading of a day to help in life
This keeps me from trouble and strife
Praying he helps me through the day before it’s done
Hoping to make heaven my home when I’m gone
Trusting in the maker is how I live
So to him my life is the least I can give
I love you lord from sea to shining sea
Thank you master for saving me
You paid a price I can never repay
So I keep moving forward with obedience and joy when I pray
Little will matter at the end of time
Thank you Jesus for being mine
My love for you grows each day
Hoping my life is good enough I pray
Many asked me why bother
Simple friends Christ is my brother
