MY MOTHER DEAR

What word of rhyme I can write about my Mother Dear
I can say that she's the greatest for being so fair
At times she may have kind tender words to say to me
                                                               when I feel no care
At times she can say harsh words to scorn me
so to protect me from the worldly lair.

She does the cooking,
                                        the cleaning,
and she's always there when I need her to do
I never once hear her complain,
not a nasty word to make me blue
Time after time when I become sick,
she is there to care for me
Night after night when I couldn't sleep
she is once again there for me
Deep inside,
                     I know,
she needs some time alone and free.

Now,
what can I say to My Mother Dear?
I must not forget about the times that she was fair
I will say, "Thank You and I really do care"
"Mother, I love you,
                                 I will not forget you,
                                                                    on Mother Day".
