Snowflakes and Memories

It started snowing, wind was blowing.
The Christmas clouds are here.
Each snowflake falls and gently calls
That Christmas day is near.

My hope is mild unlike a child
For snow on Christmas day.
I know it's rare, but I don't care.
I've always been that way.

The downward flow of Christmas snow
Is like a time machine.
Each child-like thought with feelings brought
My bygone winter scenes.

Its magic view for dreamers who
Hold on to Christmas past,
Brings child-like ways to Christmas days
With memories that last!
