C.H.4

R Nava 1955 (Lingayen)

C.H. 4

Sometimes I wonder if we could get lost in our lives

Will there be times when you’ll lose sight of us

If you get lost in your dealings
Would you still find ways to find us

It’s not that I don’t trust you
I just wonder how you would do

If our every-days become boring
Would you still find ways to be reassuring

It’s the way my brain is wired
With wondering it never gets tired

In our old age I wonder
Would I still make you ponder

Each day that passes since September
I find ways to remember

Your face ingrained in my mind
I wonder if you would ever be in a bind

There are people who are deceiving
They’d do anything to make a killing

Sometimes I wish you’d just be here
To let me know that things are clear

But I know until you show up at the door
I’d still be left here to wonder

If there’s a wish I’d like to make
It is that ours won’t break

But if you find yourself in a conflict
I would not dare contradict

May the time that we are together
Be a time that we’ll remember

Should forever be in the cards
May here on be a move for-wards
