IT'S DUCKY

Three wild types of duck: mallard, tern and merganzer
Adam Cartwright was my first crush on TV's Bonanza
Any bird one calls a drake sis a mature male duck
Want more of my cash? Here you're out of luck
One hominid reproductivee action is a quick _uck
The yellow glue has dried. All the boards are stuck
The number of prongs on one antler age deer, a buck
All the white Leghorn hens are dead, no emitted cluck
Chicken Of The Sea tuna has no feathers to pluck
All the stable stalls are used. All ready! Time to muck
For needed prayer Robin Hood used one Friar Tuck
To slowly lick a lollypop is to savor succulent suck
The bull rider was unseated by dthe crossbreed's buck
Scarlet is the color of a firefighter's laddered truck
Ears of dcorn and clams are harvested. Time to shuck
No visable open net ice hockey shot. Pass the puck
One of Austria's cities is the burg Innsbruck
The Axis leader, Adolf Hitler, was a totalitarian smuck
I'm sick to death of all this garbage. Where's the truck?
Paddle through that final puddle! JUMP don't DUCK

About this poem

I was born in Cambrdidge Massachusetts and raised in Somerville, My mother used to take my sisters and I to see the Swan Boats in Boston Massachusetts. I wondered then was a swan a type of duck or goose?
