God's Gift

God's Gift

I pray to you my Lord to answer this one prayer. Help me to leave this world of solitude and wander from despair. I need to feel loved again, whole and complete. Please----send me an angel to lift me to my feet.

What is this I see, a beam of glorious light.  It has broken through the clouds and seized all my sight. How divine it appears descending onto the land, I rise to the warmth and reach with both my hands.

God has listened to me from the heavens up above, I see an angel soaring towards me, as if a pure white dove. Her wings of white feathers carry her softly towards my way. How majestic she is, words cannot truly say.

Her beauty is overwhelming and it is all that may be seen. Her eyes sparkle with color and a bright gleam.  Long strands of hair made of shining gold, Flow freely in the wind with only the breeze to hold.

With my arms open wide I reach to grasp, her body to hold to mine, finally at last. Within my embrace, I hold her near to my heart Praying to God that we will never be apart.

This angel of mercy has come down to make me feel loved, whole, and complete. And to this most wonderful gift from above, I give my heart, my soul and all my love.
