Just Can't Understand

I have tried to love you,
I have tried to understand,
but sometimes love just can't reach a man!
Tired and confused,
feelin' blue,
what is it with me that I put myself through
heartache and misery time and again?
Searching through life trying to fill a void,
because my true dream you won't let me have!
Bitterness has replaced the happiness once felt,
this cruel deck of cards  have been dealt!
