A Heart of Hope

Jennifer k Binnag 1977 (Sacramento)

                  A Heart of Hope

         How many knocks does it
          take to enter in ?
         Wrestling with the knowledge,
          while still committing sin.
         Hungry for change, fighting
against the wind, where to begin.

How many doors does it take
             to enter in ?
          Wrestling with my emotions,
            seeking direction,  finding
          wisdom, for every decision that
            that only comes from within.

How many leaps until I reach
                         " Freedom"?
            Wrestling with my journey
while praying for what is to come...

Faith holds the key from one knock,
from one door, with one leap to see
           It swing wide open....

"Please enter in, come rest in me,
No words are left to be spoken."
