Finally Together

When the birth flowers of June bloom in my garden,
I will meet you where I promised you 10 years ago,
As the evening darkens,
With a bouquet of chrysanthemums I shall wait below,
The tree of our childhood memories...

What will change?
As the sun disappears in to orange clouds,
I can feel my heart pounding faster,
Was it the fear of the dark or was it mere suspense?

You arrived with you usual quirk,
The same style, the same smirk,
When you looked at me I felt the same warmth,
At last nothing has changed except for the eternity that we never got to share.
