Greek Ants

The sun shone with an intensity that was highly normal for the time of year in Greece. It highlighted the mountains and hills, the trees that sat on them and the houses nestled in between.

Birds whistled as all kinds of insects enjoyed the warmth and the occasional light and balmy breeze that caused the olive groves to come alive with movement and sound.

Paradise. Heaven. Tranquillity at its best.

Ants were busy working on the roadside carrying little bits and pieces to their nest. They were having great success, until some idiot thought it would be funny to give them a fingernail to carry.
