MONEY

Money, since when did you become more than a means of exchange?
Since when did your worth increase so much to an extent of being called, "Everything?"
When did you suddenly develop a voice, cause the last time I checked, they said, "Money speaks?"
When did you become the S.I for measuring Love?
How come you are now the Lingua franca for affection?
What's so special about you that people magnify you so much?
How come people are now willing to sacrifice so much just to have you?

A man wipes out an entire village just because of you,

A woman sells her priceless body just for a cheap thing like you,
A boy forgets his big dreams and shakes hand with the devil in the name of making money?
Money, I want to ask you, "are you not even ashamed of yourself?"
A girl accepts a deputy Lucifer as husband for the ego and pedigree that comes from having.
But listen, Money, people may ignorantly magnify you as much as they want to, but do you know the truth?
You're just a means of Life maintenance, you can never be Life itself!
The love of you has broken many hearts, shattered big dreams, destroyed many lives and has led many to untimely crossing the bar.
But can I be sincere with you, Money? You are not everything, although I can't deny the fact that you are something.
