Disguised joy

Ashley williams

Lavishing parties in New Orleans
Chandeliers hanging high
One's ecstasy is foreseen
Crowds of enchantment nearby.
Jazz played through the hall
Magical spell cast on people
As they sway and dance in thrall
A never ending sequel.
The night carved in memories
Rewinding in the old sick man's mind
For he believes it as his remedies
Let his youth unwind.
