The passing of the servant Queen

As a nation we mourn our Servant Queen.
Through royal robes such servanthood was seen.
We keep our vigil from before the dawn,
and standing silently, your passing mourn.

Our loving memories now turn to tears.
For you served so well for seventy years.
But you have drawn your final loyal breath
and walked with Jesus through the Vale of Death.

Trumpets sound and heavens’ gates open wide
as God and angels welcome you inside.
The Servant King knows well the role you played
For He’d given His life, the world to save.
