Guide Us

This world so full of hate and so much destruction,
People killing people their lives with no direction.
But all they need is for God to come in and save their soul,
Give them new meaning of life as a baby newborn knows.

               Chorus
God don't forsake us when we're needing you the most,
Guide us with your loving Spirit and your Holy Ghost.
Show us there's no reason to experience so much sorrow,
Guide us with your loving hand to get us through tomorrow.

Wars, diseases and famine always taking place,
Where death comes in and takes an innocent face.
God only you can save this world from a life of hate,
Giving our lives to Jesus and securing our own fate.

Families once so strong fighting against each other,
Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters hating one another.
Show them the way to make up and forgive,
Where hate walks out and love walks in.

So please God don't forsake us when we're needing you the most,
Guide us with your loving Spirit and your Holy Ghost.
Show us there's no reason to experience so much sorrow,
And guide us with your loving hand to get us through tomorrow.

Please God don't forsake us when we're needing you the most,
Guide us with your loving hand to get us through tomorrow.
