My Compass My True North
I stand with the World before me,
You spin my World around
You are my compass, with You I’m never Lost
You pull at me from the inside out
My Spirit gives a shout
A magnetic like pull that navigates me – True North
That’s calling out – “Come Forth”
I looked at the compass needle, Which is my TRUE North? I thought
Northerly the sun shines higher and cooler breeze as if to heaven rays,
Southerly gentle wind blows along the quay
Easterly the wind soughs chasing the morning away
Westerly fragrances of flowers that bloom, chasing the night away
The wind is blowing
The water is flowing
Birds are signing and bees are buzzing
Trees are standing tall
In the midst of it all
And There stands in the midst of it all - the Almighty God
The compass pulls towards his might
In all His Glory how can we lose sight
All heaven and earth bow to that very place
From that compass needle to that Very Space
My True North stands forth leading me, guiding me, calling me forth
Pulling me to my compass which points north
I close my eyes and listen to His Voice
I see the beauty and rejoice
He pulls me from my heart
To places I’ve only seen in ART
Paintings of life and dreams
Of Hopes and life streams
I see the places evolve even as I never cease to fight against the storms
He takes me by the hand
His love is made to understand
In that moment I ceased the fight
My Heart and soul took flight
He leadith me to my True North, my one true north
That’s Gods Hand on Me
Showing me that I am free
In that moment from deep down in my soul
Its that voice that pointed me to my journey
Footprints in my path even in the fire that was burning
I found that my dreams, my hope possibilities are endless
The Journey starts now is boundless
I realize that compass that I carry is right here in my heart
My compass my true north
