Missing Piece

Whilst vividly dreaming... i suddenly got awake,
There I realize–some part of me was missing...
Being utterly befuddled; i rummage around for your sake,
That's when i saw you outside–somberly star gazing,

I look upon the sky but there's not even a single star,
Wondering why you're smiling–and–having a teary eye,
I hasten–trying to reach you but you were too far;
"Please let me go", you said... it's time to say goodbye.
