Only one

Im saddened thst i allowed you to break my heart.
Ripped my soul, and snapped it apart.
You didn’t promise me anything, so why should you care!
I was the only one asking questions and willing to share.
So why am i the only one sitting here with tears.
And you're off in your life, with nothing to fear.
So I'm closing the book, with unread pages.
And letting you go, through your own stages.
And this will be the last of my voice to you.
I bid you farewell and good luck in all you do!
But, i wish you not to reach out I'm free...
Cause i finally realize, the only one i need is ME!
