Time in the shade.

Behind the wire fence was a symphony of flowers.
The sun was beating down on us with all its glorious power.
Guardians gathered on a school run fifteen to the hour.
Little bums carried butterfly bags to survive the light shower.
The trees burst over the fence to provide a kind of shelter.
I found a place beside such luscious bursting flora.
Pink roses cascaded from old to weak to lovelier
A gardener took pride of place sharing her quenching water
Cars spun their wheels in haist avoiding face to face with bikers
And then the relief sound of the gate for fathers and for mothers.
So it was the little angels were gently poured upon us.
Each one called out by their names from their caring others.
