The Impact of a Cruel World

                                         They tell
                                       Me my head
                                       Is too big for
                                      My body, I tell
                                         Them they
                                             need
                               To be skinnier, their
Parents tell them they need to
Gain weight, they aren’t supposed to
weigh so little at such an age,
Others tell them to stop eating so much,
                                “You’re too fat.”
                               “You’re too skinny”
“Why do your thighs have a gap?”
“Your stomach is bigger than my dads”
        “Are you pregnant?”          “You’re anorexic.”
“Your waist is smaller than my thigh.”
They believe the lies and stop eating,
                         from three meals a day,
to three diet pills a day
                         They become Americas
                              pretty stereotype
                                      Until they
                                            are
                                             no
                                             M
                                             O
                                             R
