Free verse
Skin as smooth as marble sheen
Cold as liquid velvet.
Wisdom of a thousand souls
Dwell within this relic.
Gaze into the eyes of beauty
Dive into those limpid pools.
Lose yourself to the grasp of death
And leave these mortal fools.
For now you are a child of night
Hell spawned another immortal.
Welcome to the darkest dawn
Enter the Vampire Portal.

About this poem

I wrote this poem many years ago and it is my best poem. I won the editors choice award for it.
