To Believe On His Name

To Believe On His Name
Author: Mark V. Markov

Holy Scripture says
When you believe
When you call
On Jesus Christ name
You shall be saved

One scenario is,
To call on His name
To believe in Jesus Christ
To be saved
It means if you are dying on your deathbed
And you can't do anything
Another scenario is
If you are not able to do anything
Because of the circumstances
That you are in.

To call on His name
To believe in Jesus Christ
To be saved
Meaning, we did right.
We are in obedience
Living our life according to the instruction.
Of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Remaining that way all our life.

If you have
The whole life ahead of you
And are able to do
What He instructed.
Then God expects you,
To the best of your ability
To live according to His instruction.
To be His child of obedience.

He expects us, as His children
To obey His instruction
To the best of our ability
He wants us to be His children,
To be children of obedience.
Because He knows
What is best for us.
And also because Jesus Christ is our Lord.
He wants us
To remain in His teaching
To be faithful to Him all our life.

John 14:15 (ESV)

15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 14:21 (ESV)

21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

John 15:10 (ESV)

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

Revelation 3:1-5 (ESV)

1“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.

“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.

3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.

4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels

The one who conquirs means, the one who remains faithful, living in the teaching of Jesus Christ till the end.

Matthew 25:31-46 (ESV)

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.

32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,

36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’

37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?

38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?

39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,

43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’

44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’

45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’

46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
