Curtains Closed

When the curtains close and the lights dim and there is me. Reflecting on the praises received as I performed past your expectations , yet why doesn’t it feel like a reward. The high is quick, the sounds are exciting, yet I’m searching the crowd for you. Anyone will jump into the accommodations given to them by strangers, the true reward is when that adoration comes from one who knows you. Intimate moments, nights where you stare at me and aren’t afraid to let me in. I wanna be in the secret place when the curtains close, wrapped in the security of your arms. Show me you can love the real me. Still wanna kiss me when people are around, never worried that they will see. When the curtains close rush me to the stairwell and make love to me, force sounds out of me that I’d only feel comfortable to display in secret. I want to come undone. Tell me that you will never leave me and mean it. Keeping things consistent, not  giving me a thrill where I become addicted and you  disappear. When the curtains are closed, I wanna press my lips against yours. Let us get lost in each other breaking all laws. Steps are taken, processes are done, empires are built when we intertwine. You remind me of fine dining on the rooftop of endless time. Can I be imagining things? When the curtains are closed, prove me wrong. Tell me letting me go will cause you harm and you will fight for eternity for me. I can be good for you, trust the journey and watch me show you. When the curtains are closed, I just want it to be you in me. Masking the noise of the onlookers, closing doors where we travel fast to our path of seductive doors. When I get you in my layer of love, curtains close and rules are broken. I want all of you, don’t be afraid to slide a hand over my throat and... when I explode off of your thrust. Push the curtains open so the sunlight hits or melanin skin simultaneously. When the curtains close, reassure me it will always be a You and Me. -Nesh
