Tubular!

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

The angels aorta penned itself.
Pinned to the avioli the egg rested.
It's robe engulfing like a cloak,
what was to be an angel.
Arteries joined in acupuncture.
Akin to its brethren man,
the nerves grew into a
functioning heart,
the heart into organs, skin and
the bone the first shell of feathers,
then the eiderdown fluffy pulp
that would eventually fill the womb
huggingly. The thought, followed.
