Pour

B.H. Godby 1986 (Berlin)

to gander upon the hour,
an iconoclastic reverie
where sedition is a power
and seduction is empathy...
i saw a magistrated notion
that the commotion was not dour
so impetus to write were conclave
like a whiskey sour.
and so the bruscque felt of the time
were that writing were sublime.
sometimes thoughts are inner
but sometimes they pour over.
