The Volcano

Boom!
                                               I watch
                                              The lava
                                       As it spills out
                                The burning mountain.
                                  I look up and behold
                               A cloud of ash in the air.
                       As the fury and darkness spreads
                   The wonder of the landscape is gone
                      But I witness the power of nature.
