Analysis of Would you?
If my heart could sing,
Would you stay and listen?
If I bit my lips,
Would you like to kiss them?
If I caressed your skin,
Would you freeze this instant?
And if I spoke the words,
Would you go the distance?
If I wrote you a song,
Would you learn its lyrics?
If I dared to hope,
Would you trust my feelings?
If I mended the wrong
Would you call it a blessing?
And if I yearned for love,
Would you nurture my spirit?
