Analysis of Morning After

Anchored down with a lifeboat of situations;
No time for a cruise, my mind's already on vacation.
The heart showed sensitivity to the sun, moon, and stars;
Too difficult to blow off tension, because I can't just hop in the car...
...No more like I use to, I'm a bigger adult now;
So when I don't get my way, I can't scream, I just pout.
I want to cry on a shoulder, but nobody wants to hold up my head;
Everybody in the room goes silent, but all thoughts can still be read.
Cry on your own as the seasons change and all the flowers pass away;
Go find yourself in the comforter of hope, as the night begins to fade.
