Analysis of RED

I write this note in red,
To represent the thoughts in my head.
So scared of what the future holds
Wandering in my thoughts, lost soul.

Can't fathom this sudden change....
Tracing my steps back
To figure out when it all went wrong.
Everyday is a different battle within me,
All I can do is tell myself, "I'll be okay"
And pray that I live to fight another day.

Maybe I have made a wrong choice,
Maybe I have wandered too far,
Maybe I'll be fine,
Maybe things will soon change,
I sit back and lie to my face.

Over the hills and far away....
There lived a loner
That could never find peace,
But go astray.

Though the day brings light,
Darkness never seems to depart.
Feeling like a loser,
Like my life is falling apart.
