Analysis of Solid Ground
Iyabels 1988 (Manila)
The earthquake has shaken my soul
The heart has endured rain as it pours
I can stumble, fall, and drown
but I am standing on solid ground
My thoughts can be corrupted
Might not walk my talk
Might be indecisive and deranged
but I am standing on solid ground
The path to the breakthrough
The realities and pain I have faced
Shining through all the constrictions
coz I have found my solid ground.
