Analysis of Invaded

The day finally came. It was inevitable. The planet was in trouble. It couldn't be avoided and they knew it.

So an army of androids were created and deployed to earth, to exterminate and wipe out its curse, before things got even worse.

Yes, the human animal. They predicted them to go bad at some point.

They were always prepared, ready to face them-the homo sapiens-if they got too aware for their own good and too careless for their responsibility and purpose as highly evolved creatures.

Now a reason why these extra evolved, highly advanced creatures are starting this.

Taking them out of the picture entirely.

Out of existence all together.

Because we had it coming, we deserved it. If nothing changes, if we don't start taking action, then maybe something like this should happen, to teach us a lesson.

Now I know this is only my imagination, but I'm speaking depths and lengths here.

Obviously no one is seeking destruction.
Oh but our choices, oh how it shows.

And to the matters that matter, ignorance is thrown.

If an alien race did try to overthrow us, we wouldn't give up.

We would fight and defend ourselves to the death.

We call this planet our home and yet we're the very thing, that is its biggest threat.

Let's not forget our begining, where we came from, cave men and cave women.

And before that little organisms swimming.

How did we come to be so different from the rest and why do we think that gives us control over them.

I think that would also be the case, for another race, from outta space. I'm sure they'd do the same.

And I'm sure they'd think they're more superior than us too.

They'd probably treat us like the animals we kill for food and experiment on us and exploit us for what we can do.

We'd end up as their slaves and do whatever they say.

They would punish us by erasing everything we've gained.

They will rid our brains of memory that we've obtained along the way and numb us to we feel nothing ever the same again.

Then insert a chip of a certain programming that can make us brain dead.

So it can activate the transformation process to convert us from human to android, to add to their growing empire.

So they can use us like puppets to get even more ahead as a species.

Seeing us as an extension of them and as worth nothing more than test subjects and nothing more than objects.

Respecting us only for being their machines.

Only for what we can offer as mind altered brings under their influence.

But us as a species, we're doing that to our society as a whole.

Government's putting us in a box saying what goes.

We abide by the rules and follow, till we're lost and confused.

Walking down a misty road, that eventually cuts off at a slippery slope.

We don't know where we're heading.

We can't see that we're getting closer to the edge.

We're fools playing a fools game.

We're sheep led by other sheep, who don't know any better themselves.

We're performing like jesters, while they smile and laugh and sit up in their houses like clowns putting on a show.

To show their fake compassion and condolences through their use of exaggerated gestures.

Persuading us to think that they're on our side and leading us in the right direction.

When really they are just in it for their own benefit.

They don't care about selfless universal prosper.

Just because they're wearing suits, doesn't mean they're proper.

About this poem

I wrote this one long ago, when I was going through a dark time. Some of what you read here, reflected much of how I felt back then. I wasn't ever planning to share it, but I'm going to anyway. I remember putting a lot off effort into to it.

I've been Writing since 2018. I prefer to call myself a writer than a poet because I write many styles of literature. I've never limited myself to just one way of using the pen. I love all kinds of writing. Most of all, I just see what I do as simply expressing my self through words and I don't really categorize my work in or to any specific genera. more…
