Analysis of The serpent

Valiantstar 1961 (Sydney)

The most subtle in the garden:

What was that I hear?

I beg your pardon,

Do I believe anything I hear.

A little leaven leavens the whole lump the messaging so subtle but can't get past this drunk.

God is love...

I know that this is true.

So let's twist the message that many can get through..

Jesus saves the sinner and came to set us straight...

But surely not everyone's a winner?

Well, that's open for debate..

Where to find his message

Where does it unfold

Twisting his teachings leave us in the cold.

Axe is now laid at the root of the tree

I tread the winepress of my wrath

The blood is over me.

We are not to judge outside the church although at times we might..

But to invite sin into the church really isn't right.

Scripture doesn't contradict it's all there to show..

Not there to cherry pick

To get into the flow..

Many are the teachers

For those with itchy ears

But when you find the truth

Him you come to fear.

He is no respecter of persons

Doesn't listen to the crowd

The treacherous one deals treacherously

Leaves us to the hounds..

One stone will not be on another

All will be thrown down

The temple of the heart

Is not on stable ground.
