Analysis of Halloween
Halloween
By Laurie Edberg
Ghost and goblins,
Witches and princesses,
Halloween is a time for children to pretend.
Back in pagan days,
Halloween was a prominent day,
The night of Halloween is for spirits,
The next day,
Is all saints day.
Spirits abound,
But on Halloween and All saints day,
Good and evil collide.
Candy and treats are offered to appease spirits,
Spirits appeased bring goodness and prosperity.
