Analysis of Reflection

Kristin Soames 1985 (Orkney)

Reflection - young

Endless blue sky’s
Days that  last forever,
The world Is fresh,
Youth runs deep,
Inquisitive eyes
Secrets to unlock
Imagination has no limit
Tomorrow feels so far away.

Reflection old -

Watch them grow
While they learn
 Remember youth,
summers past,
Life is short,
only the old understand,
Share your wisdom
hold there hand.

About this poem

This poem was wrote for me by me. What would I say to a young me at my age now? I am not old. I fondly remember my youth. It’s easy to get caught up in day to day life. Appreciate the simple things in life.
