Analysis of Is It Really OCD?
Is It Really OCD? ©
Gary Shulman, MS. Ed.

OCD never officially diagnosed
All I know is what I know
If you mess at all with my symmetry
Out my apartment your behind will go
If you deign to pick up a magazine
So perfect in its position
Then you throw it back askew, oh horrors!
Leave now and go to perdition!
Those pillows on my sofa you see
Symmetrical and neatly in their place
You toss around and chaos ensues
Are you not even part of the human race?
OCD, not sure but as I read my words
a revelation is born in my mind
Perhaps no OCD have I at all
I’m just a pain in everyone’s behind!
