Analysis of Death

Phylicia Ebanks 1981 (St. Elizabeth)

Life
By: Phylicia Ebanks

I tried to question life's mysterious behaviour and I was left without an answer.

I tried to fathom life's unexpected reality and I was left speechless.

I tried to understand life's unfavourable experiences and I was left flabbergasted.

Life seems to be ironic in its behaviour .
Life can be very pretentious.

Life can be hard to understand.
Life can be cynical .
But life is crucial.

Life why do you break me ?
I will stay and wait until you shape me.

I stumble because of you
But I will get up because of you.

Life is just who it is.
Life is just a gift that we should cherish .

Life is a gift that we all merit.

Life - Let's cherish
It's called life.
Life.
