Analysis of Cathedral
Where is the Shepard
This oasis of for death
I see the ghosts descend
The desert sand accepts
The langur hydrates
Persephone lies waiting on the wall
For they who will not fall
Where is my Mary
There’s been trouble at the square
My heart will cleave my breast
That for time is wagered
And when they find her dead
Persephone lies waiting on the wall
For they who will not fall
Where lies my compass
I awaken to amend
It has been lost for aeons
Dreams have blurred dead ends
Now to embrace my madness
Persephone lies waiting on the wall
Where is my forest
It appears but is not real
Where is my star point
All are lost and dreams fail steel
The cats’ eye tightens
The bones remain
Fixed upon the wall
