Analysis of Prohibited Pagan Practices
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Speak to the people and tell them,
Jehovah is the Lord your God;
And He will ensure to condemn,
If you do not honor and laud.
You shall not do as they would do,
The place you sojourn in the land;
Not the acts that others pursue,
Be rock solid not sinking sand.
For He brought you out of a place,
Not for walking in their statutes;
And are blessing you with His grace,
To continue in His pursuits.
You shall follow His ordinance,
Keeping His statutes and His rules;
Unlawful disobedience,
Are for the pagans who are fools.
Jehovah is the Lord your God,
If His precepts you live by them;
He purifies where you are flawed,
And He shall not ever condemn.
